Quality is built into each project through the collaboration of experienced professionals, ongoing communication with clients, adherence to field tested standards, and comprehensive project reviews.
As part of our employee policy guidelines, AEI Engineering has implemented a continuing education program. Through this program, all employees are encouraged to continue and broaden their education and fields of expertise. Our staff regularly attends seminars to stay abreast of current technology. We also provide in-house training conducted by our senior staff to mentor new employees and update other design staff on specific topics of interest.
Design ServicesAEI Engineering provides a full and comprehensive design to meet our clients project requirements. This includes the development of technical specifications, electrical plan drawings, one-line diagrams, equipment elevations and panel layout drawings, control schematics and system configuration drawings. These documents provide the client with a strong foundation to continue with the construction bid process.
Construction Management and CommissioningAEI's professionals are uniquely suited to provide a comprehensive range of construction support services including but not limited to: bid processing, evaluation, construction management, product submittal review, on-site observations, inspection, and commissioning support. This is in addition to offering acceptance and conformance testing for those projects that involve custom controls and fabrication.
Planning ServicesAEI Engineering works closely with the project owner to develop and document the scope, schedule, and budget of each project. We help identify the many options available and evaluate the cost and capabilities of each option. AEI ensures that the owner has all the data necessary to select the most appropriate solution and will provide detailed reporting for future planning purposes.
Value EngineeringValue engineering projects draw out ideas on ways of maintaining or enhancing results while reducing life cycle costs. AEIs staff of professional engineers can draw from their extensive experience and share their special know-how to propose changes that cut costs while maintaining or enhancing quality, value, performance, reliability, and safety.
Project Management and Budget Control MeasuresAEI Engineering has developed a project management methodology as well as project cost control measures and procedures that ensure a successful project. We have adopted project management practices from institutions such as the Project Management Institute (PMI) for project estimating and cost controls.
CommissioningAEI Engineering offers commissioning services for equipment start-up and turn over (controls and electrical), Division 16 (Division 26, 27, 28) systems including all sub systems, and construction inspections to verify design efficiency conformance (LEED, Energy Star, etc).
